Everybody Hates Chris Creator Comes up With a Funny Documentary!

Hey guys! We have known Chris Rock to be a great comedian and a good comedy filmmaker. Now, the creator of our favorite show, Everybody Hates Chris has added another feather to his cap, by making a funny documentary film. Yes dear, you read it right, the documentary film named Good Hair, is entirely comedy based and if you have still not guessed what it is about then let me tell you that the documentary focuses on hair!

I am sure you must be wondering what prompted the comedian who has also narrated Everybody Hates Chris, into making a funny documentary about hair. Well, according to Chris Rock, he first got the idea of making the documentary when he watched a hair show about 15 years ago in Atlanta, where he was doing stand-up comedy. However, he was actually inspired to go ahead with the project by his daughter’s queries about not having good hair!

As we have seen around us and also in the various shows based on Afro-American community, including Everybody Hates Chris, America’s black community is obsessed with their hair. Reportedly, Chris Rock who had wanted to make a documentary about the same was persuaded to go ahead with the project after his daughters and friends started having hair issues. Seemingly the idea worked for him and he created a documentary which features the interviews of many Afro-American community members about the problems they have regarding their hair.

The documentary got a world premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and reportedly made quite a noise at the festival. Well, seemingly Chris Rock has come up with another hit just as Season 4 of his hit series Everybody Hates Chris is nearing its end. I wonder when he will return with yet another fun filled season of this comedy drama that has been entertaining us for nearly four years now. But since there is still time for that, I will be treating myself to the upcoming episodes of Season 4 of Everybody Hates Chris. And yes, I am also going to watch the great comedian’s new documentary. After all, who would not like to laugh about a bunch of silly hair!
