Even though nothing has officially been announced yet, about the cancellation of the series, it has been reported that the creator of the show, comedian Chris Rock plans to end the show. According to the very same reports, the show, which is based on the early life of Chris Rock, was supposed to end when the character of Chris decided to become a comedian. This was planned as such because in his real life also Chris Rock did not complete high school and started doing comedy shows around the age of seventeen.
Incidentally, the character of Chris on Everybody Hates Chris has almost reached that age on the show. Also in the final episode of Season 4 we saw Chris, deciding about becoming a comedian. So perhaps this is how the creator wants to tell the audiences that we should not expect another season of the show. Moreover, the network has also not announced, whether or not it is going to pick the show for yet another season, which is complicating the matters further.
Personally, I feel that even if Chris becomes a comedian, Everybody Hates Chris, should continue. I mean becoming a comedian is not something which hampered the growth of Chris Rock. I am sure that he must have continued to face some more bizarre incidents, which he can narrate through this show. Even otherwise, if the show actually focuses more on Chris’s career, then also there is a lot a scope for Everybody Hates Chris, as we will get to see genuine comedy and come to learn about the formative years in the career of this great comedian.

Everybody Hates Chris Creator Facing A Family Problem………
Hey guys! So, as the comedy tv show Everybody Hates Chris, nears the completion of airing Season 4, the series creator Chris Rock, faces a new problem closer home. On March 11, Chris Rock’s younger brother, Tony Rock, has been charged with drunken driving. Tony had been arrested on 18th Feb at around 2.40am, in Los Angeles for speeding down the 101 Freeway. He was then put under arrest as the Highway Patrol people suspected him of driving under liquor influence and he failed the sobriety tests. 34 years old Tony, who is a comedian himself, committed the mistake of making a joke of his arrest. However, Tony can face up to six months of imprisonment if he is found guilty. And with the Los Angeles City Attorney, charging the comedian with two counts of driving under the influence in addition to having a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher, this seems quite possible. Well, our sympathies are with comedy star Chris Rock, who is surely praying for his brother and trying to help him out.
